Paris
Giacometti Institute
22 Jun → 6 Nov 2019
From Thursday to Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm. Closed from Monday to Wednesday.
Throughout his career, Alberto Giacometti has focused on an almost unique motif: the representation of the human being. The exhibition explores the figures of the female nude, for which the artist has sought to establish a new canon of representation from the very beginning. It shows more than 60 works by the artist, including a collection of sculptures, paintings and drawings inspired by his wife Annette. Two of the sculptures on display are among Alberto Giacometti's greatest masterpieces. Recently restored, they are presented to the Parisian public for the very first time.
