The collection of the Musée de la Poste consists of 400,000 philatelic items, postal and revenue stamps, both old and contemporary. It also contains important evidence of the manufacture of French stamps since 1849. For this unique exhibition, original sketches and models never before shown to the general public will be presented, such as Salvador Dali's Marianne. In total, 450 works will be exhibited with a focus on 9 artists in particular: Henry Cheffer is a painter and engraver; Pierrette Lambert works on miniature ivory and banknotes; Pierre Albuisson is an engraver, as is Jacques Jubert; Pierre Forget works on comic strips; Jean Delpech is interested in paintings, medals and brassware (brass casting); Thierry Mordant and Ciou are painters; Sarah Bougault works on heraldic engraving More than just an exhibition, it is an experience combining explanations and demonstrations.
