In collaboration with "Afrique in Visu", a platform created by curator Jeanne Mercier, the Institute of Islamic Cultures presents an exhibition about the power of myths and supersitions on the African continent. How can we believe in something we have never seen? Sixteen photographers and videographers have tried to answer this complex question. Going against stereotypes, the artists adopt an offbeat, humorous tone, bordering on the documentary. Between reality and fiction, we are plunged into a dreamlike universe where different beliefs seem to communicate with each other.
