It is difficult to realize the relationship we have with our daily living space. Yet it is essential to our well-being! This place allows us to escape in our own bubble. Here we enter the bubble of Ilya Ilyich Oblomov, a fictional character from the Russian novel of the same name by Ivan Goncharov of 1859. Modernized by twenty-three contemporary artists, this hermit's habitat is actually one of the most welcoming. Pull the curtains and take a break from the outside world. Far from the usual white cube of the gallery, it is a real cocoon where everyday objects accumulate: books, mirror, lamp, desk, video game, aquarium ... Make yourself at home! Take the time to hang out, to think, to dream. Besides, time is no longer important and the time has come for procrastination. This immersive exhibition disconnects you from the oppressive reality that society can be. Because to live in a space is to invest it as the artists have invested the 22.48 m2. Physical and mental space, the gallery becomes a comforting place for some, stifling for the most restless among you ...
