Les Arts Florissants has been producing costumes for forty years now, collaborating on shows at the Paris Opera, the Théâtre du Châtelet or the Festival International d'Aix-en-Provence. To celebrate this anniversary, the Musée de la musique unveils 40 costumes from the most beautiful operas, from Monteverdi's Retour d'Ulysse to Rameau's Indes galantes. In the form of a monumental display in the heart of the permanent collections, a poetic and surprising dialogue is created between the costumes, works of art and instruments on display.
