It is Ernst Haas, the Austro-American photographer, the precursor of color photography! His signature? Street photography first in black and white and then in color from the early years 1953. His pictures were published in the first color issue of Life Magazine and were exhibited several times at the MoMa during his lifetime. By the way, his studio-studio was next to the museum!
