Between 1955 and 1965, the designer and architect Pierre Jeanneret and his cousin, none other than Le Corbusier, collaborated at the request of Jawaharlal Nehru. Following the independence of India and Pakistan, the Indian Prime Minister at the time wanted to modernize the city of Chandigarh. Located at the foot of the Himalayas, it is an innovative city between cultural tradition and architectural modernity, established the architectural duo. Between minimalism and local materials, their furniture is installed in public buildings and private homes, also designed by them. These geometrical pieces have become iconic!
