Monday to Sunday, 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm. Closed on Tuesday.
For the 10th anniversary of the entrance of the French gastronomic meal at UNESCO and the 280th anniversary of the Sèvres Manufacture, the museum honors the French heritage. As everyone knows, France is the country of culture, fashion and gastronomy. From Antiquity to the present day, discover the art of the table as you have never seen it through a gargantuan exhibition! Born from an original idea of the Pointe-à-Callière museum in Montreal, this travelling exhibition presents the preparation, tasting and preservation of our country's finest dishes! It features no less than 1,000 works, all from prestigious collections (Adrien Dubouché National Museum in Limoges, the great Christofle and Saint-Louis houses, etc.). All mixed with the superb original creations of the Manufacture de Sèvres. A real feast for the eyes! As we cannot go to restaurants, you can enjoy a convivial meal around this exhibition. A program of meetings with cooks, designers, craftsmen, historians and scientists to discuss gastronomy is planned, as soon as conditions permit. So, are you salivating yet?
