« A perfect exhibition to celebrate art through crises! »

With the cancellation of fairs, the obligation to postpone some exhibitions or even to cancel them completely for others, the decision to move for a while to the virtual, the sanitary crisis has blocked many of the galleries' projects. Fortunately, these galleries are not letting themselves down! To celebrate the return to the physical visit, the Obadia gallery proposes a group exhibition that brings together the artists who were to be presented at Art Basel Hong Kong, Art Brussels and Art Basel. Looking forward spreads out in its two Parisian spaces in the Cloître Saint-Merri and Rue du Bourg-Tibourg. From Rina Banerjee's chimerical sculptures to Martin Barré's minimalist paintings and installations, from Laure Prouvost's Carrollian works to Agnès Varda's realistic photographs: the selection is ideal for discovering the gallery. In addition to this programme, there is an exceptional presentation of Jérôme Zonder's Etudes pour le personnage de Pierre-François, which focuses on an emblematic character in the artist's work. In short, an ideal opportunity to celebrate art after sad cancellations!
