A sky full of stars, a family with funny telescopes watching an eclipse, the shadow of a house with a lamppost as the only point of light. These photographs are as all covered with a veil, or dust, intriguing. What is the story behind them? A graduate of the Ecole des Gobelins in 2017, Manon Lanjouère won the Fidal Youth Award in 2017 with her series "Demande à la poussière". She takes as her starting point, a fiction. Lightning struck a roof, leaving traces of the violence of the shock and offering the viewer the immensity of the sky. The artist questions this memory, which did not happen. The photographer's work, which is fundamentally multidisciplinary, proceeds by accumulating and collecting documents: literary texts, vernacular photographs and scientific documents mingle with false archives and the studio portraits she produces. A real staging, which blurs the tracks and makes one wonder where is the real, where is the fiction.
