"We don't touch works of art! "How many times have we heard this sentence go through the rooms of an exhibition, regretting not being able to explore a work with all our senses? With her co-creation approach, Marie Preston reverses this dynamic. It creates common spaces that take shape in the collective activity, with people who are a priori not artists. At Ferme du Buisson, Marie Preston combines her research on two cooperative practices: baking and "alternative" pedagogies. Her exhibition is conceived as a workspace that explores the links between co-creation and co-education. The Pain Commun centre is rebuilding the kneading trough of Saint-Denis where it has brought together residents to make bread. The Open Schools cluster features archives and testimonies recounting the experience of alternative schools. The Printing division shows school newspapers, libertarian posters and the Freinet press, allowing it to publish its own productions. Circulation, exchanges, joint production are the key words of this exhibition which puts the collective at the heart of the action.
