For his second solo exhibition in France, the artist Mehmet Ali Uysal questions the much more personal values related to memory and a Uysal's willingness to put into practice his first memories and emotions as a child, or even as a teenager, his relationship to belonging, to his native land, to the family home or even to the face, in the strictest sense of the word. paternal... In this exhibition, Mehmet Ali Uysal looks back to his past and integrates those memories that have followed him until now into his personal universe. An anxiety grows in his mind like a nightmare; what if these fragments of his own life were to fade away? The fragile thread that connects lapensée to the memory pushes the artist to move back and forth incessantly on this thread to avoid breaking it and seeing his fragile memories disappear. Where did he live? What happened in his life when he was in that period of almost unconscious childhood? Mehmet Ali Uysal is known for his monumental installations that interact with the environment. He likes to manipulate our perception of space.
