The Nova_XX Biennale is definitely innovative. This Forum, dedicated to technological, scientific and artistic innovation in women's fashion, is now presenting an exhibition that questions the approach to innovation that has so far been gendered. Collective narratives and mythologies have long been regarded as great achievements, erecting figures of genius and making exceptional women exceptional. Few can name women working in science or in the field of new technologies. There is a real question of public recognition and asymmetric valuation of each other. The exhibition does not seek to make women into new heroines, but rather to promote knowledge around women creators and innovators who have hitherto remained on the margins. Navo_XX thus abandons the approach to history by figures of great heroes and by male figures, leaving all the space for a possible reinvention.
