From clownfish to killer whales, from mantis shrimp to sea turtles, from strange deep-sea ogrefish to great white sharks... what if all these animals crossed your path during the holidays? This winter, the Jardin des Plantes tells us about the beauty and fragility of the oceans. Océan en voie d'illumination offers visitors the opportunity to dive into the vastness of these waters, discovering majestic, fascinating and sometimes surprising forms of life. You will discover the inhabitants of the coastline, the splendour of the warm seas; then you will dive into the discovery of strange creatures in the mysterious universe of the abyss before finally going up to the frozen seas of the poles. The giant light sculptures, installed in the paths of the Garden and the Menagerie, will guide your exploration of the oceans and the creatures that inhabit them.
