Four winners of the Talent Grant, for four unique visions: this is what the BNF invites us to discover exclusively. In her Need series, Nathalie Lescuyer makes tangible the tension between the excluded voice of migrants and what the rest of the world thinks, through images of overwhelmed insiders. In portrait, Tian Jin devotes Les herbes folles to the politics of the only child in China. His photographs give a new presence to abandoned children, who are growing in extreme precariousness. In Maternity, in fashion and transversality, Huanfa Cheng parallels his wife and objects with organic textures, as many metaphors to evoke the evolutions of the pregnant woman. In landscape, Charles Xélot's Line of rupture explores the social and environmental changes of the Yamal Peninsula in the Russian Arctic. To ship gas, the tundra landscape has been disfigured by pipelines, oil and ice breakers. A must-see event, the exhibition showcases young talents in contemporary photography.
