« An unexpected playful exhibition in this exceptional place for all nostalgic people or young children!  »

What better way to learn than by playing? The model proposed by Les Invalides for the holidays is very special. More than 3000 Playmobils, exhibited in the Turenne des Invalides hall, invite us to a true journey through time. Jean-Philippe Broussin, artist and collector, imagined eleven giant historical scenes, eleven major stages in the history of France, entirely reconstructed with the help of the characters. The exhibition begins with the time of knights and castles, continues in the time of Francis I and Leonardo da Vinci, then Louis XIII and his famous musketeers. It traces the Napoleonic period with the campaign of Egypt, the coronation of the Emperor and the retreat from Russia and ends with the representation of a French village during the 1940 exodus and the Liberation of Paris. Perfect for children (and adults) to learn while having fun, the visit ends with a play area dedicated to the youngest and a photo session alongside the giant figurines. Let's go, let's go, let's go back in time!
