After this hectic period, the Da-End gallery reopens with an improvised and undisciplined hanging, all to the honour of the surrounding disorder! The gallery has seen its programme disrupted, forced to deprogram or postpone the exhibitions of Nikolay Tolmachev and Markus Åkesson, whose works are due to circulate this summer. Neither one nor two of the artists supported the gallery to allow for a new, dynamic programming, responding to the challenges of this strange period. Markus Åkesson, Matsui Fuyuko, Lucy Glendinning, Orié Inoué, Sarah Jerôme, Kim Kototamalune, Mike Mackeldey, Daïdo Moriyama, Nieto, Cendrine Rovini, Toshio Saeki, Satoshi Saïkusa, Carolein Smit and Nikolay Tolmachev have thus brought their work together. On the programme? colourful, flowery, sensual works. A gleaming mouth, abandoned books, feet in the flowers and fingers in the water, a wriggling butterfly and a blissful chimpanzee. In short, something to frolic in a bucolic and dreamy world to prepare for the arrival of summer.
