Paris
National Museum of Natural History
20 May → 13 Oct 2021
From Wednesday to Monday 10 am to 6 pm. Closed Tuesday.
The posters presented especially for the occasion were created by the greatest names in illustration! These large formats plunge us into the history of the museum and the natural sciences. From the origin of life, animal, vegetable or mineral, to the conquest of space, this exhibition in the heart of the Jardin des Plantes makes us discover the major discoveries of natural history. It is also an opportunity to (re)meet important people, such as the philosopher Voltaire, the ethnologist Rivet or the naturalist and biologist Buffon. A real trip back in time! As for the collective The Parisianer, they have imagined a kind of future world through scenarios worthy of science fiction: colonization of Mars, melting of the ice cap... Finally not so imaginary as that, these synopses are also there to remind us of the ecological and climatic emergency we are facing. An outdoor exhibition to do with the family!
