Zevs is an artist with a committed and satirical practice. His work questions the current consumer society. The three sculptures and series of paintings presented here question the relationship that man has with his current environment. The first series of paintings, entitled Jet Painting, consists of a dyptic. His paintings welcome us into what seems to be a reassuring place for human beings. The next series, Septic Paintings, presents compositions based on research on Richard Heede, who denounces the effects of oil activity. Eight canvases make up the last series of paintings, Evolution. In the manner of David Hockney and Claude Monet, they depict a Californian villa that is energy-intensive and harmful to the planet. As for the three sculptures on display, they summon the imagination of mythology and denounce human corruption in the face of power, while paying tribute to Le Corbusier. The exhibition continues into the museum shop, which is transformed into a work in progress by Zevs himself, who anticipates the "tokenisation" of the world. Company logos are melted into the acronym NFT (non fungible tokens) transforming them into crypto-logos. Whether physical or digital, every single object is a part of a final and total work, namely the museum shop.
